Job Description

The Mosquito Joe Pesticide Applicator must maintain current and valid state certifications/licenses to enable the business to service residential and commercial properties. The Pesticide Applicator directly services customers and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations, in addition to rules detailed on pesticide labels.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay of $15 per hour, with opportunities to make $17 per hour
Seasonal (approximately late-April to mid-October)
Flexible scheduling - work full or part-time
Training materials and testing fees provided

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests
Explain services and procedures to customers
Maintain good customer relationships
Drive safely in a company vehicle
Work independently
Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements
Maintain clean and well-organized service vehicles
Handle pesticides in a safe manner
Able to service properties in warm temperatures while wearing backpack blower

Education and Experience

Driver’s License
Background Check
Ability to carry 60lbs at 20-min. Intervals

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
